Sonarqube 5.2 background tasks sometimes fail without registering

It seems like for more than half the time I’ve been trying to analyze using Sonar Runner 2.4 in several different projects that complete the analysis, but publishing (via a background job) to SonarQube fails. There is no journal that I can find with the relevant information on the SonarQube server for failed tasks - at least I cannot find them. I am new to SonarQube. SonarQube 5.2 is located on Windows Server 2012 R2 using the SQL Server 2012 database (SP1).

The answer is the solution indicated in the SonarQube 5.3 related background task with no login to the Dashboard . There were several SonarQube servers that I did not know about when I was originally hosted accessing the same database. When these other instances were closed, there were no more crashes in background tasks.
