Glyphicon changes color on hover

Question

How can I make it work so that when I find my li> a, it also changes color on my glyphicon. I have listed my html below and what I tried to do in css. But that only changes it if I find a glyphicon, not a. And yes, I also tried to change it on my a, but this will not affect my glyphicon.

Html:
