Script missing in IE Debugger after updating Windows 10

Updated to Windows 10 about a month ago,

I noticed that in Internet Explorer 11 the script panel in the debugger is not visible. Running Edge, which appears to have the same appearance for developer tools, the panel is located.

Disable default settings in IE 11 that have disabled JavaScript debugging, but this has no effect. Wondering if IE 11 uses parts of Edge and causes a debugger problem?

I struggled with the same problem for a while, right after upgrading to Windows 10, and even if a little late, it can help others. In my case, this turned out to be the stupidest thing: the script panel was there, but hidden behind the Wacthes and CallStack panels. You just need to go left and squeeze these glasses a little. See photo:

No script: No script pane

Script panel was hidden !: Script pane was hidden!

In addition, other actions that I did before I noticed:

  • I turned on the script debugging (Internet options> Advanced> In the "View" section, uncheck the "Disable script debugging" box). <= This is really necessary for actual debugging as soon as you return to the script panel.
  • Disable IE11 and enable it again.
  • Reset defaults, etc.

But nothing made the panel look, just so stupid to fix it so easily. I hope the same for you!
