How to test an application on Edge on Mac OS or Linux

I am on Mac OS and Linux and want to test my application on Edge. I know that I can use Browserstack, but this is a paid service. Any other ways that I can test on Edge for free?

If you are on a Mac or Linux, you can use the following Edge testing tools for free :

Virtual Machines https://dev.windows.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/vms/windows/ You can get an image of virtual machines for testing Edge, as well as IE6 for IE11 on all Mac, Linux, and Windows platforms. To install a virtual machine image, you need either Virtual Box, or VMware, or Vagrant.

RemoteIE https://dev.windows.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/remote/ If you do not want to install a VM image, try RemoteIE. The Remote Client application is a small utility program that allows you to access Microsoft applications from the cloud. When you launch Internet Explorer from the Remote client application, the real version of the browser preview opens in a new window of your operating system, like any other application that you could launch. This version of Internet Explorer has been modified to host the latest version of the EdgeHTML rendering engine preview, so you can check how your site will render in Microsoft Edge. It is available for Mac OS X, iOS, Android, and Windows, and includes easy setup and account settings.

Yes, using virtual machines. For this reason, Microsoft provides virtual machines in several formats.

You can download them here.
