Unable to login to SourceTree

My company has a Bitbucket account with Atlassian. I downloaded the latest update in Sourcetree; When I try to log in, my credentials are not accepted.

Sourcetree Login Page

The same thing happens if I access this page through my web browser here: https://id.atlassian.com/login?application=mac&continue=https://my.atlassian.com

However, if I try to log in to https://company.atlassian.net/login ? It works great.

Is there some kind of agreement I should use to tell Atlassian my company name as part of my login user ID (i.e. username @)?

Sourcetree won't let me do anything without going past this screen.

Try exiting the SourceTree application and restarting it.

I had a similar problem. My id.atlassian.com worked online, but repeatedly failed in SourceTree. It worked for me after the restart.

Atlassian recommends sticking to the old version for now: https://twitter.com/sourcetree/status/699624992003244033

Update February 22 Atlassian apologized and released SourceTree 2.2.2. However, some people are still discussing issues with the initial entry into the release announcement .

Remove all other authentication identifiers in the Authentication section of sourcetree except the git hub.

Then click "Add" or go to the "Hosting Repositories" (to quickly check whether it is successful) and click "Change Accounts".

In the credentials, select OAuth and select the update token. You will be redirected to your registered bitbucket website and click on β€œGrant Access”.

Now go to your new account in the "Authentication" section of sourcetree and select "Set as default."

Done. You should now see all your repositories in the hosted repositories. It shows a login error if it failed.
