I have a problem with Android 5.0 and above. Whenever I align any view with the parent bottom, the content is hidden behind a soft navigation button.

The above screenshot is taken after creating a new project with Android Studio 1.5. I just added the edit text at the bottom of the snippet.
As you can see, half of the editing text is located behind the navigation bar.

PS If removing or replacing drawable is part of your solution, I already tried it. And I could not find the right solution in the Android manuals either.
