Increase heap size for sqlworkbench / J

How to increase heap size for SqlWorkbench / J?

I tried different options, but most of them say execute the command below: -

java -Xmx4g -jar sqlworkbench.jar

Even at http://www.sql-workbench.net/manual/install.html#install-increase-memory it provides me with this solution.

Now I am using a macbook. Therefore, I only have the sqlworkbench.app file. I do not have .ini or .jar files for sqlworkbench.

So how to increase memory size?

I could not find the info.plist file anywhere in the application folder on my Macbook pro. When I searched for Info.plist, I could only find related to Microsoft Office.

I right-clicked the sql desktop jb icon on the desktop and selected Show package contents. I could finally find the Info.plist file there !! I changed the heap size from 512 to 4096 mb.
