"Error in strsplit (version_with_dots," \\. ") [[1]]: index out of bounds" for update function

I am using installr package version 0.17.0 to update R and related packages. However, when you enter updater() :

The following error message appears:

 Error in strsplit(version_with_dots, "\\.")[[1]] : subscript out of bounds 

How can I handle this situation?

The current version of R is "3.2.4 Revised." The installation seems to be having problems with the "revised" part of the name. Bug fixed in the latest version of the package.
