How to specify a startup image for an Android application

Currently, my application scales to a white screen as it launches.

I noticed Google’s default Android apps using the launch image while their app binaries are loading.

Does Android offer the ability to use a startup image for an application? I do not mean the splash screen, which is on the timer AFTER the application starts. I am referring to a static resource that is displayed during application loading. Like the launch image of Apple . Thank you

An example launch image for iOS is here . Apple

This screensaver guide may be useful for you:

This will show the splash screen a short amount of time before the application is initialized. If you do not want to click:

Sample code is available here:

Having development experience on both sides, No, android does not provide such a method as LaunchImage from ios.
