I installed dapper from NuGet. When I try to compile the code, I get an error

What causes this?

You see an error because the package you use does not have a strong name, that is, it does not use a signature.

Signing guarantees the authenticity of the assembly. See Something Wrong, NOT Signing a .NET Assembly? for more information on cause assemblies, you must (or should not) sign up.

If the assembly is not signed, it cannot be used in the assembly that is.

You can either deactivate the signing in the assembly that uses Dapper, but I would not recommend this. Instead, you can use Dapper.StrongName .
