Can't install raspberry pi, windows iot

I can no longer deploy my application in Windows IoT for debugging (Raspberry Pi 3) using Visual Studio 2015. Yesterday everything was fine, today I get an error message:

DEP6956: The connection to the device could not be established due to protocol incompatibility. Try again, and if this error persists, try restarting the target device. The device supports the Sirep2 protocol.

I tried to configure the endpoint for both the IP address and the device name. I am using the latest windows IoT preview.

I can connect to the device using the Application Manager in the browser, as well as using the IoT control panel.

Any idea what could be causing this?

I had problems with this if I disabled or restarted Pi while Visual Studio remained open. As a best practice, I suggest always starting or restarting Visual Studio after each restart of the Pi. For further clarification, this only affects the instance of Visual Studio that was previously connected to the device or was previously involved in a remote deployment. Other VS instances must be accurate.

This, of course, takes a lot of time and should not happen, but avoids the deployment errors mentioned above.

Well, three reboots later from PAP, PIX, Visual Studio and laptop, it works again. I do not know what the problem is, but now everything is in order.

Rebooting Windows IoT Core through the toolbar is all that worked for me.
