Does anyone know if UEFA or FIFA provide api points for football matches, a list of official team players, transfers, etc.?

I found footytube api , but not sure about stability and completeness.

UEFA or FIFA do not seem to provide any API for obtaining the required information. However, there are some third-party services that support this:

  • OPTA - both commercial and free. They have an incredible database of matches. Whoscored.com currently uses it.

  • Others: livecoreboards, xmlsoccer, ...

http://api.football-data.org/index is free and useful. The API is under active development, stable, and the first version was recently released called alpha. Check out the blog section for updates and changes.

UEFA internally provides its LIVEX Api to its broadcast partners. It is perfect enough to develop applications for its partners.

You can find stats-dot-com - personally, I think they are better than opta. ESPN does not seem to provide full data and does not provide live data feeds (unfortunately).

We searched for the official data feed, providing our fantasy games (solutionsforfantasysport.com) and still staying in the statistics (mainly opta, datafactory)
