GitHub painfully slow on Safari (macOS Sierra 10.12)

After upgrading to macOS Sierra 10.12, it became impossible to use GitHub.

Safari is painfully slow at this. I tried to clear the cache using CleanMyMac 3, uninstalled the entire extension (not disabled) and disabled all the plugins for the GitHub site (in fact, I have only 2 of them: Unity Plater and Adobe Manage).

Does Google not give me any hints of what might be the problem? Any thoughts?

This is not about Apple or Github. All simple - roskomnadzor blocked the digicert verification service ocsp.digicert.com . I believe that you are from Russia, why you came across this issue.

There are several ways to solve this problem:

  • Use Chrome / Firefox / Any that you want.
  • Rotate SSL Validation in Safari
  • Update your /etc/hosts following line: 72.21.91.29 ocsp.digicert.com

I choose the last one. Now all the working punches are beautiful.

Here you can find the details here and here. Only links in Russian.
