App Store Feed Rejected iOS Advertising ID

My application is rejected for the following reason, but I do not use an advertising identifier. The following command is used.

find . | grep -v .svn | grep "\.a" | grep -v "\.app" | xargs grep advertisingIdentifier

and got "Binary ./libGoogleAnalyticsServices.a" as a result.

PLA 3.3.12

We found that your application uses the iOS Advertising ID, but does not include the functionality of the ads. This does not comply with the terms of the iOS Developer Program License Agreement as required by the App Store Review Guide.

In particular, Section 3.3.12 of the iOS Developer Program License Agreement states:

"You and your applications (and any third parties with whom you have concluded an advertising contract) can provide us with an advertising identifier and any information obtained using an advertising identifier only for advertising purposes. The user resets the advertising identifier, then you agree not to combine , do not correlate, link, or otherwise link, directly or indirectly, the previous advertising identifier and any information received with reset advertising identifier. "

Remove the iOS Advertising ID from your application or add the functionality of the ad to your application.

This reason for failure makes sense. In some libraries that use the adsIdentifier incorrectly, instead of the recommended ways to identify the device, for example identifierForVendor. Not sure if Google’s latest analytics uses the recommended authentication method. Try updating to the latest version. In another case, you will need to choose another analytical solution for tracking, for example, Mixpanel solved this problem and works well.

The Google AdMob library also uses an advertising identifier, and it’s strange that Apple rejected my application for the same reason, although my application displays ads.

The latest version of Google Analytics version 3.03c solves this problem by removing the need for a link to AdSupport.framework

I have the same deviation, and it turned out that my GoogleConversionTrackingSDK case is a library that misuses the advertising identifier.
