Do I have a 301 header for this redirect and how will the google index affect?

I have an application that, when switching to, is http://website.comautomatically redirected to http://website.com/en, because the language is not detected.

Do I need to use 301 redirects for this redirect? How about google indexing? Will it affect my google indexing?

This is a complex set of solutions, and Google is pretty secretive about how page rank works.

I assume that you have a multilingual site - where http://website.com/en, http://website.com/es, http://website.com/fretc. I also assume that you want Google to index all of these sites and recognize them as being in these languages.

You can undo the DNS sollicitor from gethostbyaddr(), but this can slow down the boot process, or you can trust the database of IP browsers . I would recommend none of them, the User Agent control should be fine.
