Use VS2017 to publish WebAPI stuck in `profile preparation`

Right click on project -> publication -> select publication in folder -> publication

then stuck in "profile preparation". (I waited 10 minutes)

Go to the ang project folder, go to "Properties \ PublishProfile" and delete all profiles. Then try publishing again.
