How to pass a variable from Python to VBA Sub

I am trying to call VBA swap from my Python code to convert all excel files to the specified folder from xls to xlsm format.

I can use the following code when I do not use a variable in VBA, and it works well.

Python Code:

xl=win32com.client.Dispatch("Excel.Application")
xl.Workbooks.Open(Filename="C:\Users\Name\Documents\PERSONAL.XLSB", ReadOnly=1)

However, I cannot call the function when I try to pass a variable from python to VBA. Below I have tried so far.

Does anyone know how to successfully pass a Python variable to a VBA routine?
