ChromeDriver 2.31 does not work on CentOS / RHEL 7 (gilbc 2.18 required)

When I try to use ChromeDriver 2.31 on CentOS 7, I get the following error:

version 'GLIBC_2.18' not found

ChromeDriver developers confirm that the dependency of the glibc library is increased to 2.18, and CentOS 7 - with version 2.17.

Chromium developers are aware of this problem and are working on a fix:

libc++ glibc sysroot, __cxa_thread_atexit_impl. glibc 2.18, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 2.17. -, libc++ ( libstdc++ GCC), , , Chromium (, , Chrome Driver Chrome ) .
