So, in a few words, I use android.location to get my location, and I don't see the difference between when the application is in the foreground or in the background. My first thought was that Android told us to use the Google Location Services API to get the location. I also tested this with (Google geolocation services API) and it works the same. There is no difference in getting a place between the preview and the background.
My question is this: do you know why it works the same way? Knowing that https://developer.android.com/about/versions/oreo/background-location-limits.html informed us that when the application is in the background, we will receive slower callbacks with a location ("Applications can receive location updates only a few times per hour ").
Thanks!
