Opening Capybara Selenium Chrome About Google Chrome

I have a problem with testing in Chrome. When I run the test, it opens the chrome: // settings / help page in a new tab. This leads to the failure of my tests, because he cannot find the buttons that he has to click on. I was debugging Chrome normally when I saw what happened.

Can I prevent this? Or can I keep the tab where I am testing focused in some way?

This morning I came across the same question. All our tests were unsuccessful because it chrome://settings/helpwas automatically opened when we conducted our tests for selenium.

This behavior did not happen when we used Chrome 61 and suddenly appeared when it upgraded to Chrome 62.

To fix this, we had to update the binary chromedriverto the latest version. Here you can find the drivers https://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/index.html

Our tests now work fine again.
