Android studio on Ubuntu 17.10: Nexus_5_API_22 AVD emulation process was killed

I reinstalled Android studio 3.0 on my ubuntu. The whole process setup was fine. Now I have created a new project. But when I try to start, I get this on the console:

11/10 21:10:19: Launching app
Error while waiting for the device: The emulator process for AVD Nexus_5_API_22 was killed.

Any idea please?

The path to libstdc++has changed in Ubuntu 17.10. Try the following:

$ cd ~/Android/Sdk/emulator/lib64/libstdc++
$ mv libstdc++.so.6 libstdc++.so.6.bak
$ ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6 libstdc++.so.6

Now you can start the emulator from Android Studio.
