What is the difference between Jdeps & Jdeprscan?

In Java 9, a new jdeprscan tool was added, which is very similar to the existing jdeps tool.

According to my understanding, the main task of jdeprscan is to use the "delete" and "release" attributes of an obsolete annotation.

Is there any other scenario or use of this tool that cannot be executed with JDeps?
