Open Source Windows Mobile OCR Library

Does anyone know an OCR library that will run on Windows Mobile (5 or 6, but the PPC2003SE will be great)?

I would suggest that OCR would be native (C / C ++) code, but if it was in .NET or at least had a .NET API, that would be great.

It sounds like you're out of luck with the free, mobile OCR. I found this blog post about a free service called Scanr designed to work with cameras, but it may not be like you: http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2006/04/scanr-use-camera-phones -for-ocr.html

A workaround could be to use an OCR server such as WeOCR ( http://weocr.ocrgrid.org/ )

TopOCR may be worth a look, but I don't know how useful it is. It seems to be a standalone program without an open source license.
