Any recommendations on lightweight .net Win Forms HTML renderer elements?

Trying to avoid using the .net WebBrowser control (I donโ€™t need to navigate to the URL, print the rendered html or any other built-in product). Wrapping around IE-dll seems a bit overwhelming.

I just require something that can display the main HTML text with the caption - the equivalent of the html RichTextBox . Does anyone have experience / recommendations / war stories?

I developed this HTML control for .NET that does what you ask for: display the main html tagged text.

It does not use IE or any other unmanaged code (except for the .NET platform itself).

Lutz Roeder (from the Reflector fame) has the WYSIWYG .NET HTML editor on his website here: http://www.lutzroeder.com/dotnet/ . Check out the download called "author." I did not use it myself, but it was the first thing that appeared in my head.
