Does Amazon S3 boot up sometimes?

We simply added autoupdater to our software and received an error message that autoupdate would not complete properly because the downloaded checksum sha1 of the file does not match. We are hosted on Amazon S3 ...

Is this something wrong with my code or something wrong with S3.

I re-read my code for suspicious materials and wrote a simple script to download and check the checksum of the downloaded file, and really got several errors once in a while (1 of 40 yesterday). Everything is good today.

Do you have such a problem? Is there any workaround?

Additional Information: The test was launched in Japan.

My code runs on the server side, so I have included some robust error handling and logging. I think it’s wise to do this every time you have one server on the network communicating with another server .: P
