I have a Visual Studio 2005 Solution workspace, which, in turn, includes 8 projects. I want to profile the complete code (all projects) and get some measure about the absolute cycles that each function executes to execute, or at least the percentage of cycle consumption.
I checked the help for VS 2005, as well as the parameters of the project parameters, but could not find any pointers to hwo for information about the profile. Any help in this regard would be helpful.

I used the trial version of the RedGate Ant profiler for an optimization algorithm that usually uses up to 100% of the processor on one main computer, and although it went slowly and reported everything I needed to know. An extremely useful tool. I wonder what algorithms you use on the Ant profiler.
Has anyone used a VS profiler?
