Does the IDE language have any advantages over the plugin for a multilingual development environment?

I mainly deal with Java and C / C ++ development, but I am starting to do more web development (PHP, Rails) and Eiffel (learning a new language is always good).

I am currently using Eclipse for Java, C / C ++ and Ruby (not Rails). Since I know the environment, I think it would be easier for me to find the plugin and use Eclipse for all my development languages. But are there any cases where the IDE language environment (EiffelStudio for Eiffel, as an example) would be better than Eclipse?

It completely depends on the user and the language itself, if you are comfortable with keyboard shortcuts, then you can consider the plugin, which you can use for the IDE. However, most IDEs come with cross-functional key cards, so you use key cards that are more convenient for you ....
