Visual Studio / TFS Freeze Window May Be Turned Off

I am using Visual Studio 2005 with Team Foundation Server.

When I right-click on a file under source control and select “compare,” VS looks frozen until I remove the escape. I assume that the window that should appear, somewhere I can not get. I tried to minimize all the windows that I can and cannot find them anywhere.

Try the key combination to go to the main window menu (), then press "M" to move and press the arrow key to attach the window to the mouse - then the next time you move the mouse, it should go to it.

Experiment with the window that you see first.

I had the same problem when trying to register with TFS - there is no dialog box and the ESC escape key turned off the freeze.

Recently, before the problem, I changed the configuration of Laptop + Monitor as follows:

from the main screen, which is a laptop, and the second screen is a monitor

for the primary screen, which is the monitor, and the secondary, the laptop.

I got rid of my secondary screen and tried again. It is enough that the invisible dialogue is no longer invisible.

I had to turn off the second screen too. Now the registration screen is displayed in which you can add a comment.
