Is there a performance difference when using a .resx file and compiling satellites?

What is the best way forward when building a localized aspx web application, satellite assembly .resx files? Are there any performance comparisons anywhere on the web?

Well, I don't know if the comparison really is.

ResX is a storage format for storing resources in XML. It is compiled into binary form (.resources) using the resgen tool before it is embedded (if specified) into the assembly.
