Install ASP.Net 2.0 after IIS

I just got a dedicated server from a hosting company, and for some reason it did not install IIS. He really had .Net 2.0.

So, I installed IIS, but now my ASP.net websites will not work. I just get 404, no event log entries, nothing ...

In common package information, I noticed that: “To access ASP.NET features, you must install IIS with the latest security updates before installing the .NET Framework”

I also can not remove .Net, it just will not let me ...

Is there a way to reinstall .NET 2.0 or somehow do what it does for IIS to make it work?

Thanks! Daniel

run from command line

aspnet_regiis -i

You may need to navigate to the folder in which it was installed. Mine and default value

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

Make sure you enable extensions for asp and aspx in IIS. By default, they are disabled. I will do this before you want to remove additional components.
