Is there a .NET Framework compiler for Ruby? I heard about DLR (Dynamic Language Runtime), does Ruby allow .NET development?

IronRuby is a Microsoft-supported project built on the Runtime of a dynamic language.

Yes, the Ruby.NET project . Note that it has not been updated since November 2007, so I'm not sure what support is like now.

Edit: as others have pointed out, IronRuby is supported by Microsoft, so this is probably the best idea
