Compatible with Visual Studio (6.0, 2003 and 2008) with 64-bit version of Windows Vista (x64)

Are there compatibility issues when running Visual Studio 6.0 (including Visual SourceSafe 6.0 Client), Visual Studio 2003, and Visual Studio 2008 on 64-bit version of Windows Vista?

Is it possible to interactively debug applications using the Vista web server? Can I create and compile projects?

Is it right to assume that Visual Studio 6.0 and 2003 will run under WoW64 (Windows-on-Windows 64-bit), while Visual Studio 2008 is native x64?

I note "the support expression for Visual Basic 6.0 on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008" ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vbrun/ms788708.aspx ) says: "There is no VB6 development on 64-bit Windows and will not be supported. "

I found some discussion of usernet / newsgroup by other people who tried to make similar attempts

2005 works fine, and MS officially supports 6.0, so you should be good at both. Unfortunately, 2003 is not supported by MS, and so far I have not been able to install it to install and run correctly on Vista x64 .: - (
