Images don't display in IE7 (but work fine in IE6 / Firefox)

The problem with some images using IE7 - works fine in 6 and all versions of Firefox.

Has anyone come across this before? I know that this happened in the past (and I was looking for a fix, but darned if I can find a fix again ... notice to yourself, document such things for the future;))

Are you familiar with the web developer toolbar for IE ?

I think that the images are probably being rendered and that you cannot see them, because something else is covering them or the markup of the container in which they are located makes it not to be visible.

Good luck.
