PostgresSQL mysql publicity differences

I need to start building the architecture for the database project, but I really don't know the differences between the engines.

Can anyone explain the pros and cons of each of these three engines? We must choose one of them, and the only thing I really know about is the following:

  • Mysql and Postgres:
    • Free, but not as good as the oracle
    • Mysql as a security issue (is this true?)
  • Oracle:
    • The best database engine in the world
    • Expensive

Can someone clear the other differences between them? This is a medium / large (we think about 100-200 tables) project with a low budget, what would you choose? And with a higher budget?

Thank you all for your help in clarifying the differences.

ps: I hope I do not duplicate the existing message, but I tried to search and I did not find it.
