What is the simplest and least dependent AOP framework in Java?

I want to use the AOP structure, but I have two limitations.

Any structure I choose

  • Must be fairly independent. I plan to use this in the old code base, and therefore cannot update the intended dependencies, such as commons-logging-XXX.jar, to commons-logging-newest.jar.

  • It should be well documented, should not be too complicated for understanding and integration.

  • afaik
  • You cannot do everything a full AOP framework allows.

I tested it a while ago and was very impressed, but found some glitches that I don’t remember right now. Although you can try.
