Using Groovy / Grails in an Inherited Java / JSP Web Application

I was fortunate enough to start a new life with the Grail. However, many people ask me how to add Groovy and / or Grails to the legacy Java / JSP web application. Do people have experience or recommendations on how best to incorporate Groovy and Grails into a large legacy application?

A tool that can help map legacy databases to grails domain objects, GRAG is the Grails application generator . This is a handy tool that helps generate mapping classes for you.

The third option is to not use Grails for the gorm / domain level. Instead, since it works well with Java, you can create services that invoke existing legacy Java code for business logic and persistence .
