RevNum field set to 2 by Word 2007 or SharePoint

After “validating” the .docx file on SharePoint and editing it, the RevNum property is set to 2 .

It makes no sense, can someone explain why this is?

As I understand it, version 1 is for initial creation and revision 2 from editing.

You can change the Version History of a document by going to Document Library Settings-> Version Options and selecting one of the following options

  • No version
  • Creating major versions
  • ()
0

! , .

, RevNum 2, :

  • .docx RevNum 31
  • (RevNum 32)
  • (RevNum 33)...
  • SharePoint
  • RevNum 2

RevNum "" Word, SharePoint. .

, :

When registering, the document is overwritten (copied from the local draft folder to the server location), and therefore RevNum starts with 1, changes (?) And RevNum 2 ... Perhaps this is a mistake in SharePoint. "RevNum back to 2" only occurs when using input / output. When editing "normaly", it correctly restores RevNum.
