.NET 3.5 installer includes 3.0 SP2?

We are trying to track down some problems with the dependency of the .Net assembly.

On Windows XP, is the .Net 3.5 3.0 SP2 installer installed?

.NET 3.5 contains .NET 3.0 SP1

.NET 3.5 SP1 contains .NET 3.0 SP2

I'm not sure, but I believe that Microsoft is building on top of every version of .NET. It makes me think the answer to your question is " Yes ." I hope someone can confirm this.
