I have an application that is fully Unicode compatible in Delphi 2006. I replaced all AnsiStrings with WideStrings, replaced all VCL controls with TNT controls, and changed all string functions from AnsiStrings to WideStrings. It seems that all this work was worthless, because I have to turn it all around. Is there anyway Trick Delphi 2009 to think that Widestrings are actually UnicodeStrings?
No, really not. But you will not regret that the work of this Unicode allows your application.
