Can I make asynchronous ODBC calls? Any reference material?

Does ODBC support asynchronous calls? If so, can you tell me about any background material?

My preferred language is C ++.

I wanted to know the same thing. An obvious workaround is to maintain a pool of threads, each of which makes synchronous ODBC calls and signals (and sends a signal) asynchronously.

Of course, we can implement any missing functionality on the application side, but with its implementation in the driver makes things less painful on the application side.

I am looking for a complete list of drivers that clearly states whether the driver supports asynchronous calls out of the box. Please provide me with such a list if anyone knows about this.
