What are your impressions of NetAdvantage or DXperience?

I study both of them, and although I was pleased with NetAdvantage from my previous employer, I find a price (plus reviews, for example, What is the best set of winform UI components? ) To make me hesitate and consider DXExperience.

However, I am wondering:

  • What are your impressions in the field (or, ideally, both)?
  • Are you ready to spend your own hard-earned money on any of them?

This is for WinForms, as well as the last question:

  • Does DXperience have something similar to UltraWinDataGrid? This grid is amazing - and the lack of a reasonable competitor is a show stopper.

Note . This is not intended to foment a fiery war; I am interested in experiments and pragmatic advice.

We evaluated libraries from Syncfusion, Infragistics, ComponentOne, Xceed, Janus, and DevExpress. We decided to use DevExpress based on its feature set, performance and grid functions and tape management functions.

Comparing the management of Infragistics and DevExpress Grid, I found that:

  • The DevExpress mesh loads faster and processes more data than the infrared mesh.
    • 25K rows * 50 columns: Infragistics loading time is 2000 ms, DevExpress loading time is 1400 m.
    • 50K rows * 500 columns
      • Infragistics 600 , 400 .
      • DevExpress 1000ms, 250
    • 500K * 50
      • Infragistsic 3500ms , 7000
      • DevExpress 2000ms, 1700
    • 2M * 10
      • DevExpress 8500ms, 10000 .
