As pointed out at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%2B%2B0x :
ISO / IEC JTC1 / SC22 / WG21 C ++ Standards Committee new standard in 2009 (hence the standard today called C ++ 0x will become C ++ 09), which means that the document must be ready for ratification by Member States ISO in 2008. In order to be able to complete, the Committee decided to focus on decisions introduced prior to 2006 and ignored newer proposals [1].
