Can I use Google Apps for domain email and use the sendmail server to send emails?

I use Google Apps for the domain to host email from my domain, and I have installed MX records on my site in accordance with Google documentation. Can I also use the sendmail server to send additional messages from my web server without conflict with Google APPS?

Specific questions: 1) I want to add MX records for my sendmail server to my web host in order to avoid receiving mail sent from my sendmail server marked as SPAM (via IP search). Will there be an MX record for Google Apps and my conflict with the sendmail server in any way? 2) Will Google Apps mail work correctly if I have a separate sendmail server? I want my Google Apps email to receive all my emails, and I want to send additional mail from my sendmail server.

The main reason I want to have my own sendmail server is not to have restrictions on the number of emails I send (currently my Google Apps email address limits me to 250 emails sent per day).

If there is someone who has done just that, please speak!

MX records only affect receiving mail. Third-party site servers trying to send email to your domain use MX records to determine which host the mail is sent to. You can configure the sendmail host to send mail without affecting your MX records or your mail. (SPF records affect sending mail; if you use SPF, you need to update it to display both your Google Apps hosts and your sendmail hosts.)

: sendmail , MX. MX :

  • , Google Apps. ( , , Google Apps , DNS ...)
  • , sendmail, Google Apps, sendmail ( ).
  • SMTP sendmail, , - ( jasonrm), ( - sendmail ).

sendmail MX , - , Zoredache, SPF, . ( - SPF MX.)

sendmail - , Google Apps.

, , ?;)

1) , MX " " (, 50, gmail 20), gmail . , , MX, SMTP- , , . , sendmail, , . , , - , gmail.

2) I see no reason why not. If you never allow sending emails to your outgoing servers and you perform low priority, it should work fine.

Also, be sure to turn on all servers that can send mail in your SPF text entry. The spam filter should check and trust that at least as many MX records as not all companies use the same inbound server for outbound ones.
