Link 3.5 build from app 2.0?

I have an assembly designed for .NET 3.5.

I have an application designed for .NET 2.0, and am wondering if I have problems referencing assembly 3.5 from application 2.0.

I understand that IL is supposedly the same, so I assume it will work, but would like to hear some impressions from others who have tried this.

The runtime will install both 2.0 and 3.5.

No problems. An application is executed in only one execution ... the .NET Framework v2.0.
