Somebody knows? Since I think one of the stumbling blocks for people to cover the wiki is that they need to upload images to the wiki separately, and not just copy / paste the document into the document
OpenOffice can save as a Mediawiki text file, ready to be inserted into an online editing window.
Microsoft has an add-in for Word 2007 and Word 2010 for saving to mediawiki markup. It can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=12298

Webworks.com users have a good desktop software solution that automatically publishes Word documents on the wiki. They currently support off-the-shelf applications: Confluence, Mediawiki, and MoinMoin.
