Any recommendations for a high-quality compact (without a numeric keypad) keyboard, preferably 50 or less?
Criteria:
- $ 50 or less
- Preferred laptop keys (scissors instead of rubber membrane ala cheap keyboard desktop)
- Quiet (I'm a guy like Model-M, but it's not a good environment for a noisy keyboard)
- Do not worry about media keys, USB ports, etc.
I love the Apple Wireless Keyboard, and you've heard that Happy Hacking Keyboards are recommended by others, but they are slightly behind our budget.
There were a few questions about keyboards (check the "peripherals" tag), but as far as I can tell, there are no compact keyboards. No one requires more from their keyboards than programmers, so although this is a somewhat subjective question, I thought this was the best place to ask.
