Note. I made several corrections here, since the first time I did not get my question very well.
Update . After some of my own research on this subject, I came up with a great example of why I am looking for the perfect list of folding font family: http://www.brownbatterystudios.com/sixthings/2007/03/14/lucida-hybrid-the-grande -alternative /
body {
font-family: "Lucida Sans Unicode", "Lucida Grande", Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
}
strong, em, b, i {
font-family: "Lucida Sans", "Lucida Sans Unicode", "Lucida Grande", Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
}
I suspect someone else has made a detailed list like this, and instead of having to do it all again, I would like someone elses to work hard. If no one else has done this, then will I go ahead and start my own?
I know how to look for web-safe fonts and how to enable recessions for different types of browsers to get closer to my desired font, and we have all done this many times before. However, one day I saw an example of where someone saved a list of all the deviations in the stylesheet, and all you had to do was comment out on the ones you didn't use.
The list, as it turned out, contains most of the fonts that anyone will ever want to use, and instead of constantly cleaning the network every time to create their own list, I wonder if anyone knows about this or any another indented font list?
Example:
body {
font-family:Arial,Helvetica,"Bitstream Vera Sans",sans-serif;
}
: Consolas, Monaco, Liberation Mono, Lucida Console; ( SO), , , , . ? -, ? , , ...
