We are writing a .NET application for reading images, including RAW files. Is there a good library we can use? Perhaps a wrapper around dcraw or libraw? Licensed, the LGPL is fine, but the GPL will not.

The option with which I finished working ran DCRaw and wrote the output to the GDI + Bitmap object. It works well and it is not too slow.

The ImageMagick library, which can read almost all image formats, has a .NET wrapper that you could use.
There is http://sourceforge.net/projects/dcrawnet/ , but only in alpha
