Do any OR mappers provide asynchronous methods?

Do any .NET O / R (object / relational) mappers provide asynchronous methods out of the box?

I do not want to write a boiler plate for an asynchronous method, if possible

I deployed my own DAL with asynchronous methods using the CCR infrastructure. CCR basically requires me not to block any of its threads waiting for IO responses.

The good part of my decision so far is that it is to a minimum. But as this project grows in terms of scale and functionality, I am faced with a rather difficult task of maintaining raw SQL queries and code tables.

BUT, on the other hand, if the asynchronous O / R matching methods are really just a messy hack that adds oddities to complexity, I'm not better.

Ignore alternatives to asynchronous programming.

As long as I'm not sure if any of them will do this out of the box, you can use . NetTiers , template-based, you can simply add asynchronous parts to the template. This will at least save you the trouble of supporting boilerplate code and simple SQL queries. This blog shows how to add asynchronous calls to the MS Enterprise library (which NetTiers can use if you choose).
