I run an open source project, and from time to time, Chinese users report build failures due to unrecognized escape sequences .cs and .js files. When they insert files as they appear, I notice that the Latin characters are changed to Chinese.
I use Visual Studio, and when I look at "Advanced save options", this is the option "Western European (Windows) - Codepage 1252".
Should I use Unicode (UTF-8 with signature)? Is there a way to convert all files into a solution?
